- 3/4 lbs Beef sirloin (or flank steak cut into thin strips)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 White onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 1/2 cups Tomatoes (diced)
- 10 Black olives (pitted and quartered )
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper (fresh)
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes (crushed)
Instructions
Italian Pan-Seared Steak
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, and onion and cook until onion is translucent.
- Add the steak to the skillet, browning on all sides. Use a wooden spoon or tongs to turn pieces as needed.
- Stir in the garlic, tomatoes, olives, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
