Granny’s Salisbury Steak
1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
½ cup cooked rice
¼ tsp black pepper
1 egg
1 ¾ cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
3 cups beef broth
3 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp cornstarch
Combine ground beef, onions, rice, black pepper and egg; divide into six equal portions. Shape each into a 1 inch thick patty. Coat a skillet with cooking oil and cook patties for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook for three minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and beef broth; cook for another ten minutes.
Return patties to the skillet, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the patties to a platter; keep warm. Combine water and cornstarch; add to broth mixture, stirring well. Bring to a boil then cook ONE minute more. Serve over patties.

Lice Spray
In small spray bottle mix:
Vodka
peppermint oil
lavender oil
(5-10 drops of oil)
always do a small test area for skin sensitivity and fabrics
Spray on head, bed, linens, furniture....

Israeli Salad
An Israeli breakfast staple, this salad is also often served with lunch and dinner. The salad is made with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and plenty of parsley. Some top it with feta and olives, or dress it with tahini sauce.
4 Roma tomatoes, diced (2 cups)
2 Persian cucumbers or ½ English cucumber, diced (1 ⅓ cups)
½ yellow bell pepper, diced (⅔ cup)
⅔ cup chopped Italian parsley
3 Tbs. chopped green onion
2 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. lemon juice
Toss together all ingredients in large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
Serve in a Pita pocket
Skinny Shake

3/4 cup Almond Milk
about 15 ice cubes
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1-2 Tbsp unsweetened Cocoa powder
1/3 of a Banana
Blend.

Homemade Mosquito Repellent
It's that time of year - the skeeters are getting bad
Skip the harsh store bought stuff and make you own mosquito repellent
Combine in a 16 oz bottle:
15 drops lavender oil
3-4 Tbsp of vanilla extract
1/4 Cup lemon juice.
Fill bottle with water. Shake.Ready to use. Make some extra to gift to your family & friends. (Trust me.. it'll be appreciated!) Share this on your wall so you'll have it handy when it's needed.
